Cookie Policy
This page describes the cookies and other tracking tools used by the website https://academy.altalangadocg.com/, pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Personal Data Protection Code) and to the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) of 10 June 2021. The data controller is Consorzio Alta Langa. For general information on the processing of personal data, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and other tracking tools are
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited save on the user’s device and read again during subsequent visits. Similar tools, such as the browser’s local storage, tracking pixels and other device identification techniques, are subject to the same rules. They may be installed directly by the website (first party) or by services of other parties (third parties).
2. Categories of cookies used
Technical (strictly necessary) cookies
They are necessary for the website to work or to provide a service requested by the user, for example navigation, security, storing cookie preferences or the shopping cart. They do not require the user’s consent.
Statistics cookies
They are used to collect information on how the website is used, for example the pages visited and the duration of visits, in order to improve how it works. They are installed only with the user’s consent.
3. List of cookies used
The up-to-date list of cookies used by the website, with the category, purpose and duration of each, is shown below and is generated by the consent management system, which updates it at every new scan of the website. The choices made can be reviewed from the same box.
4. More about Google services
The website uses Google Consent Mode: before the user makes a choice, Google services receive the consent status “denied” and do not install analytics or advertising cookies; after the choice, they receive the updated status. In the absence of consent, Google services may receive cookieless technical signals, for example about the type of device and the consent status, which Google uses only for aggregate estimates.
Google Analytics 4. According to Google, for users in the European Union the IP address is used only to derive an approximate location and is neither logged nor stored. The user can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the opt-out browser add-on.
The user can manage the personalisation of Google ads from their account settings (My Ad Center). How Google uses information from sites that use its services is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Consent management
On the first visit to the website, a banner is shown that allows the user to accept all cookies, reject non-technical cookies or choose individual categories; the banner is managed through Cookie-Script. Closing the banner with the “X” is equivalent to rejecting non-technical cookies. The choice is stored and the banner is not shown again, unless the services used change significantly.
The user can change or withdraw the consent given at any time, including for individual categories, from the settings in the section “List of cookies used”.
6. Managing cookies through the browser
The user can also delete cookies already installed and prevent their installation through their browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may affect the proper functioning of the website.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards set out in the Privacy Policy.
